Supermodel Gets Out of Jewelry Business

According to reports, supermodel Hedi Klum whose jewelry line is partnered with Mouawad USA Inc. is getting out of the jewelry business. I do not know if there are any debt management or relief issues. The jewelry was designed using the shapes of clovers in the jewelry line by Klum. She has given several reasons for her decision, one of which is the trademark infringement lawsuits that have been filed by Arpels Inc. Debt management? The large jewelry house claimed Klum’s jewelry designs of vintage clover pieces and other types of contemporary, homemade and were copies of one of their lines of jewelry. All in all she may need some good debt management when this is all said and done, or perhaps some debt consolidation, credit counseling or other form of debt help overall. The lawsuit that was dismissed without prejudice last year by a federal judge could be filed again, and had claimed that Klum’s jewelry line had copied their vintage clover design that is featured in the companies Alhambra line, according to Van Cleef.
After the ruling the two jewelry houses stated they would settle the disagreement between themselves, rather than refilling the claim.
According to statements in an interview Klum stated that while she is a small company. She has unique jewelry which apparently includes leather, copper and also silver jewelry, if I heard correctly.
