All about the Armored Car
This one is a bit off-topic so forgive me but it is an interest of mine and of couse we do have such a big military service presence here in Hawaii and San Jose as well. And of course I like auto related things. A Nice Surf Adventure
well I recently went on a rather long trip, I mean one that took almost 3 weeks to conclude, and dealt with
all sorts of interminable delays (I recommend that you do not fly American Airlines if you can at all help it).
I went to Miami and the Florida Keys as well as Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and a few other islands in the region sometimes referred to as the Spanish Main. Now I am in Scottsdale, Arizona. All in all it was a pretty good trip despite the various travel delays (thanks American Airlines). I think I will try to fly Northwest Airlines next time because they happen to be a lot better in my humble opinion. I notice that a lot of folks are getting sports injuries and PRP or prolotherapy injections in order to rehab it. By the way PRP mean Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy and all in all both prolotherapy and PRP treatments seem to be growing in popularity overall.So it is nice to be back on my home island of Kauai, it is such a quiet and unassuming little place, and very beautiful as well. In any case, kauai boasts some top surfing, and some of the best surfers in the world, such as the Irons' brothers, Chris Marseille and Laird Hamilton, to name just a few, happen to be from here. That being said, the surf here is not quite as good as the north shore of Oahu, although it does get just as big, as of course it gets the same wave swells from Alaska's Aleutian islands. But the pointed shape of Oahu's north shore means a better shaped wave for the most part as they peal off the tip. Kauai has more of a rounded, blunt north shore, unfortunately, which is not so ideal for wave shape, thus you do not have the famous Waimea Bays and Pipelines, etc. that Oahu is known for. I have also heard that Costa Rica is a terrific surfing destination. may I suggest to you a costa rica surf camp or perhaps even a golf courses tour over there. They are highly recommended and can give you a truly great experience whether you are looking for this or even a costa rica surf and yoga retreat
Denver Housing Prices Varied
I just returned from Washington where there were definately a lot of bankruptcy and foreclosure problems in general. It is interesting that in the Denver metro area home prices were down by 1 percent in the last few months, but small house prices and sales were up. Homes under 1,000 square feet were up by 14 percent, but larger houses around 3,000 square feet were down by the same amount! One of the factors for this might be the reality check that some people who might even be able to stretch their budget to purchase a larger house may have had during this big housing melt-down.
