An Incredible Costa Rica Surf Vacation

So many of us lead rather stressful lives where we are simply trying to get through the work day. It seems to me that to be truly healthy you should actually take some time off, maybe go on a trip or a vacation. I mean, you should set some time aside for cool vacation and and relax with one of nature’s truly awesome gifts. How does going on a surf trip sound to you? Living in hawaii as I do (the land of the Irons' brothers and many other top surfers) I know how much os a stress reliever it can be or aplace like Lake Tahoe where I had my wedding, for example.
If you wish to ease burdens at work and get past those particularly stressful office issues and you do not live in Hawaii like I do, taking a costa rica vacation can help. Speaking of vacations, I tend to really enjoy Lake Tahoe as a vacation destination, especially for a wedding. This said lake tahoe wedding planner is a very good one if you need such a planner in Lake Tahoe and are planning a wedding there. But enouph about lake Tahoe, back to C. R. for a bit:All in all, the Costa Rica Surf camp is designed to deliver to you an exciting and unforgettable surf experience like no other in the lovely Central American nation of Costa Rica. It is all but certain that you will love this costa rica surf trip and on your vacation you will learn how to surf like a veteran.
In addition, there is also a camp and costa rica surf and yoga retreat. Furthermore, there are surf camps for the beginner surfer and for the mid-level to expert surfer so you can free stress when you try a whole different kind of "Board Meeting".

A Nice Surf Adventure

well I recently went on a rather long trip, I mean one that took almost 3 weeks to conclude, and dealt with
all sorts of interminable delays (I recommend that you do not fly American Airlines if you can at all help it).
I went to Miami and the Florida Keys as well as Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and a few other islands in the region sometimes referred to as the Spanish Main. Now I am in Scottsdale, Arizona. All in all it was a pretty good trip despite the various travel delays (thanks American Airlines). I think I will try to fly Northwest Airlines next time because they happen to be a lot better in my humble opinion. I notice that a lot of folks are getting sports injuries and PRP or prolotherapy injections in order to rehab it. By the way PRP mean Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy and all in all both prolotherapy and PRP treatments seem to be growing in popularity overall. So it is nice to be back on my home island of Kauai, it is such a quiet and unassuming little place, and very beautiful as well. One thing I look forward to doing is getting back to the surfing, which is a passion of mine. I just visited some areas that have some really good surfing, such as the island of Barbados in the I believe British West Indies (which has been featured in Surfer magazine a number of times and was also one of the main settings in James Micheners book which chronicled the real life Pirates of the Caribbean such as Captain Morgan and Blackbeard, among others), I did not go because I did not have my surfboard with me, and it costs about as much as the board is worth to take it with me (I am exaggerating a bit here to be sure but you get the idea). At least I did not have golf bags since I am a huge fan of scottsdale golf courses on the whole or even Phoenix, Arizona golf courses. In any case, kauai boasts some top surfing, and some of the best surfers in the world, such as the Irons' brothers, Chris Marseille and Laird Hamilton, to name just a few, happen to be from here. That being said, the surf here is not quite as good as the north shore of Oahu, although it does get just as big, as of course it gets the same wave swells from Alaska's Aleutian islands. But the pointed shape of Oahu's north shore means a better shaped wave for the most part as they peal off the tip. Kauai has more of a rounded, blunt north shore, unfortunately, which is not so ideal for wave shape, thus you do not have the famous Waimea Bays and Pipelines, etc. that Oahu is known for. I have also heard that Costa Rica is a terrific surfing destination. may I suggest to you a costa rica surf camp or perhaps even a golf courses tour over there. They are highly recommended and can give you a truly great experience whether you are looking for this or even a costa rica surf and yoga retreat

San Francisco Lovers

Why do people love San Francisco? Why will they go to such pains to live in this rabidly liberal, unique, gorgeous city, with its fog, its traffic, its high taxes, its tiny condos that go for half a million dollars and up?
First it has that romantic history. Once a little fishing village full of Ohlone Indians, it has been born and reborn. Four hundred and thirty years ago, the notorious Francis Drake sailed into San Francisco Bay. Of course that's only the beginning of current, popularly-known history. It was transformed by the hordes of the Gold Rush. It was nearly obliterated by the earthquake and fire of 1906, rebuilding itself thereafter bigger and better than before. It's got that great-looking bridge, and those sensuous green hills. And all those different people from all over the world! San Francisco has flavor and complexity, like a fine wine, brewed by some madly brilliant vintner. It has a lovely herbal bouquet, sassy, yes, a little fruity to be sure, yet strangely piquant, but not too overbearing or astringent. Its got Angel Island, Alcatraz, and Tony Bennett. As an aside if you are in the bay area and require a top notch Laser Tattoo Removal San Francisco service then may I suggest this service. They are one of the top Laser Tattoo Removal San Francisco services around. Young people sometimes complain that San Francisco has no nice, educated people to date, even though San Jose, its chummy neighbor to the south, has an overabundance of them. People say San Franciscans can be rude, self-important and arrogant, yet they like to vote for things like good public rest homes for the poor and also aid for the homeless

Hawaii hotel occupancy sits at all-time Lows

I recently returned from the wonderful town of Boulder (saw a mechanic about an auto repair you know) and had a nice trip there. Sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news sometimes, but if more evidence were needed regarding the global economic downturn, hotel occupancy for the first half of the year was the lowest ever on file in the Aloha State, unfortunately and in particular Oahu. All in all, total hotel revenues dropped by some $339 millionin the initial half of 2009, which is basically down by about one-fifth or so when contrasted to the same period in 2008. Not to change the subject or anything but if you need some Oahu Real estate
work done then the Sotheby's office may be of some assistance. In addition to Oahu they also do other types of Hawaii real estate transcactions as well.
This is a disturbing trend to be sure and is one of the main reasons I am sure that Governor Linda Lingle is scaling back state jobs and making other steep spending cuts and slashing the state budget overall. Broadly speaking, The median daily rate fell a bit last month, which was down 16.6 percent to average $171 per night. As it turns out, with these kinds of lower rates and less guests, revenue per room has dropped by nearly one-third to about $109, as contrasted with the same month in the previous year. That is a significant increase indeed. Speaking of them then definately give these guys a peak. They can also help with denver convention center hotels and the like. You know I was recently in a hotel on Mauai (specifically
in Wailea beach) and i was horrified when I got my bill. There were several significant extra charges, including a state room tax, tacked on
which made the final bill much higher than I expected. I felt thoroughly gouged when I left and it left a very sour taste in my mouth. Ithink I will rent a condominium the next time that I am over there. Much like the Oahu real estate market, this arena has really taken a downturn overall.

The Kauai Hyatt Regency Resort (Part 2)

I mean, there are awesome and scenic canals extensively featured throughout the Kauai Hyatt Regency with swan and also saltwater lagoons with theori own islands that have jacuzzi in the middle of them.
There a number of different waterfalls of different sizes, bubbling lava rock streams and even a very cool waterslide. In addition, there are basketball hoops you can use from the water that the kids will really love a lot, I am sure. In fact the whole place seems almost as much of a paradise for the kids as for the grown-ups. Along the beach there are wonderful 'swing chars' and broad hammocks which are so cozy, a great spot of you just want to kick back with a book or something like that. This place is truly some of the finest real estate I have ever seen. The 'Shipwrecks Beach' nearby boasts swimming and snorkeling, although if you drive a few minutes down the road to Poipu beach the snorkeling is a little bit better and the swimming is much safer overall. Shipwrecks beach is awesome but it can be a little too rouph at times so proceed with caution there. it is rather rocky there too as compared to other nearby sand bottom beaches. This is one of the very few drawbacks of this resort, which, in my opinion, has done so many other things right. On the grounds itself you have several casual dining venues plus an upscale Italian dinner restaraunt and the Tidepools restaurant, at the edge of the swan lagoon and waterfalls. By the way if you need som Kauai Real Estate let me suggest SGR as they are one of the top real estate outfits in all of Kauai. There are both poolside bars and a nice lounge inside as well. The views from the rooms are outstanding also. For example there are views of both the ocean and the mountains alike depending on exactly where you are. The Kauai Hyatt is really a lot different from the Hyatt Hotel over on Mauai near Lahaina.

The Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa on Kauai

The Hyatt Regency Resort, located on the beautiful "Garden Island" of Kauai is, along with other awesome hotels such as the marriot Resort in Nawiliwili and also the Priceville Sheraton Hotel, among the islands finest examples of gracious island vacationing. This wonderful resort lies on the on the sun-soaked south shore of the island, right near 'ShipWrecks Beach' which is about as beautiful as it gets. Nearby are more excellent beaches along with shopping, bars, restaraunts and the like. This is really some prime real estate, that is for sure. There is also a very nice walking path along it's shore, although unfortunately it is not particularly long overall. On the whole, there are some other attractions and resorts nearby, such as the Sheraton Poipu Hotel, which, while it is very nice, is not quite as nice as the Hyatt Regency, in my own humble opinion. I suppose it could be better for business since it does have some nice amenities for business travelers such as an internet room and so on. There are also some very nice condominiums and house in the area directly nearby the Hyatt. The next town over, Old Koloa Town, is I believe the oldest town on the island, a former sugar cane producing center. It is really fascinating to see the former post office and other buildings with dates etched on them from the nineteenth century. The old post office has pictures of what the town looked like way back in the sugar cane days of the 1890's. Koloa is only a few minutes away from the Hyatt by car and it features a very charming little shopping center which I think you will enjoy. By the way if you are in need of some great Kauai real estate then might I recommend Sleeping Giant Realty as they are perhaps the best real estate firm on the islands. It is a truly wonderful spot to just sit down and have a burger or simply walk around and do some window shopping as you view the historic old landmark.
But back to the Hyatt Regency: One of the things that I personally love about this place is that it is interspersed with waterways which, although they are artificial,
look natural and tropical. It seems more congruent with the true spirit of Hawaii than some of the more stuffy European-style hotels that you tend to see elsewhere.
